John has been in wealth management for over 32 years, including the last 22 at UBS. He successfully assists clients in managing all aspects of their wealth planning needs, through both good and often challenging market conditions. He attributes his success to having thorough knowledge of the capital markets, utilizing the intellectual capital of UBS, and other outside resources while partnering with his clients' accountants and attorneys. He has been an integral part of the management team at UBS serving as a Sales Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, and Branch Manager. He has never lost sight of what is most important to him, serving the clients of the Short Wealth Management Group.

Growing up in Northridge, Ca., John earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California Lutheran University. He currently holds the Series 3, 6,7,9,10,63, life, health, and long  term care insurance licenses. He continues ongoing training and education to provide the latest knowledge and expertise to assist his clients navigate through often challenging market conditions.

John volunteered with the National Ski Patrol for over 25 years. He was the President of Thousand Oaks Little League for 15 years during which the league competed in 9 World Series Tournaments, winning the World Series Championship in 2006. Recently he chaired the 50^th Anniversary Parade for the City of Thousand Oaks, the largest parade in the history of the city with over 25,000 in attendance.

Currently, John is the President of the Community Leader Association at California Lutheran University. He is a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and Rolling Thunder, nonprofit organizations which honor our US armed forces, firefighters, and law enforcement officers. You will often find him as the Master of Ceremonies for local events such as the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, and the Alzheimer walk.

John and his wife Sue have lived in Thousand Oaks California since 1995 and have three sons, Johnny and Daniel and Christopher (adopted 10/2015) along with two Schnauzers, Clyde and Harley.
