Kathleen Entwistle, CFP®, CDFA
Kathy has been in the financial services industry for more than 25 years and has been recognized with multiple awards and designations for her achievements during her tenure at both Morgan Stanley and UBS. She has earned industry recognition, having been nominated for Barron’s "Top Women Financial Advisors" for the last eight consecutive years. She has been selected to attend Barron’s "Top Women’s Advisor Summit" every year since 2009.
A long-term member of UBS Directors Club, a UBS Banking Champion* and a member of UBS President's Club, Kathy is frequently invited as a guest speaker at firm and industry conferences to share her knowledge and expertise with her peers. Kathy was recently invited to join UBS Private Wealth Management, a select group of 350 Financial Advisors at UBS which serve the ultra-high net worth client.
Kathy began her career as an Officer in the Corporate Trust Department of Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New York City. In 2001, she joined Morgan Stanley where she held the role of Vice President and Wealth Advisor. Kathy moved to UBS in 2007 and subsequently formed Hudson River Partners, creating a team with dedicated specialists to best advise and service her clients.
The focus of Kathy’s practice is comprehensive wealth advice, which begins with a discovery meeting that addresses the goals, values and priorities of each client. Through a detailed multi-meeting process, she provides strategies and solutions that go beyond investing. Her select group of clients includes affluent families, women in transition, successful business owners and corporate executives.
Kathy received a B.S. degree in business administration from Providence College and her M.B.A. from Fordham University with a concentration in finance. She is a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) and a Certified Divorce Financial Advisor (CDFA™).
Outside of work, Kathy serves on the Board of Directors of the Ridgewood Public Library Foundation, the Board of Directors of the Christian Health Care Center, The Family Support Organization of Bergen County, St. Joseph’s School for the Blind and the Ridgewood A.M. Rotary. She is an active member of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, Women United in Philanthropy and co-founder of an executive womens’ networking group. Kathy lives in Ridgewood with her husband and three children. She is an avid golfer and loves to be outdoors.

Luke joined Hudson River Partners in 2015 and is series 7 and 66 licensed. He is a graduate of Colgate University with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics. Luke assists in portfolio reviews and investment proposals and ensures execution of implemented strategies. Outside of work he enjoys basketball and traveling.

Brett Lawrence Richter

Brett joined the team in June of 2016 after graduating from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Brett works as the operational center point of our team, focusing on client communications and account maintenance. In addition, he provides a high level of customer service to our clients through our specialized onboarding process. Outside of work he enjoys golf and spending time with friends.
