With over 25 years' experience in both Wealth Management and Investment Banking, Rob strategically guides his clients toward their financial goals. He began his career as an Investment Banker spending six years at both William Blair & Company and EVEREN Securities (now part of Wells Fargo), advising his clients through several public financings, IPOs, and merger & acquisition transactions totaling over $2.5 billion. After leaving EVEREN, he served as Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager in Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley. Rob finally joined UBS in 2009 in a similar capacity, where he's been a member of the Financial Advisor Advisory Council for the last seven years, and was recently awarded the Endowment & Foundation Consultant designation.
Rob is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, majoring in Political Science with minors in Business Administration and International Security Affairs. He has received the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) credential from the Wharton School of Business, and has passed level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
Rob currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. He's also a graduate and former team leader of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), and is an avid traveler and a triathlete. Rob is involved in alumni relations volunteer work for the University of Michigan, and also has done volunteer work with the Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Special Olympics, Chicago Cares, and ACP Veteran Mentoring. Rob and his wife Becky have two daughters and a son, and live in the north suburbs of Chicago.
