Chris Cookson has over 16 of experience in financial services, beginning his career in 1997 in Houston. His work centers on guiding clients through the wealth management process, with a focus on asset allocation, and investment selection. Chris is experienced in working with corporate relationships as well as with families.

He has a B.A. from the University of Maine and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Houston. He and his wife, Cassandra, live in Houston. Cassandra is a professor at Lee College and they are the parents of three boys: twins Spencer and Bennett, and Carter.

Active in the community, he serves on the vestry of St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, where is currently Senior Warden. He is also on the advisory committee to the Welcome W. Wilson Houston History Collaborative, and the executive committee of the University of Houston PAC. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Houston Club.
