The Pathfinders Series unit investment trust offers a portfolio of common stocks seeking capital appreciation and discounted U.S. Treasury zero-coupon bonds. If you were to invest $10,000 in the trust, approximately $5,000 would be invested in a portfolio of stocks we select and $5,000 in U.S. Treasury zero-coupon bonds. The U.S. Treasury zero-coupon bonds would return the $10,000, protecting your original principal invested as long as you purchased your units at $1.00 or less and hold them to maturity.
We understand the importance of long-term financial goals such as planning for retirement, funding a child's education or trying to build wealth toward some other objective. With this in mind, we designed a portfolio to meet the needs of investors interested in building wealth prudently over a long-term horizon.
