Mutual Funds

They're popular for many reasons. Mutual funds provide attractive features that include:
  • Ownership of a broad range of securities for a minimal investment
  • Diversification across asset classes, geographic regions and investing styles
  • Potential reduction in overall risk through ownership of a variety of securities
  • Active portfolio management or passive indexing1
  • Easy redemption since mutual funds continually accept redemptions of fund shares2
  • The ability to purchase shares over time using dollar cost averaging3
UBS is pleased to present over 3,000 mutual funds from more than 200 leading fund families.

1 Passive indexing tracks the movement of an index. Indexes are unmanaged and not available for direct investment.

2 Mutual fund companies may impose a fee for early redemption.

3 Dollar cost averaging can neither guarantee a profit nor prevent against a loss. Because it involves continuous investment in securities regardless of fluctuating price levels of such securities, you should consider your financial ability to continue to invest through periods of low prices before participating in this program.
