Geoffrey is a 26-year veteran of the financial services industry. Geoffrey is currently Executive Director, Branch Manager of Northbrook and Assistant Market Head for the Metro Chicago Market of UBS Wealth Management Americas. He began his career in 1990 as a financial advisor at a privately held investment firm. During his 8 years of service there he transitioned into the management side of our business, holding titles such as Branch Manager and Regional Director.

Geoffrey brings a robust, diverse background to our team having worked across the industry at all the top wealth managers throughout the Midwest prior to joining UBS. From 1998-2007, Geoffrey was the Complex Manager at Morgan Stanley for Cleveland, Chicago and Detroit. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2007 to become their Regional Sales Manager overseeing Wisconsin & Illinois.

Geoffrey joined UBS, the world's largest wealth manager, in 2009. In his previous role, he was the Resident Manager of the UBS Tower Wealth Management office in downtown Chicago, which covers offices throughout the Illinois & Wisconsin. He and his wife reside in Winnetka, IL with their two children.

Kerry is currently Director and Market Administrative Manager – Metro Chicago for UBS Wealth Management Americas.

She is responsible for all Administrative responsibilities for the market area; including managing and leading our Client Service Associates. Kerry brings over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined us from Morgan Stanley in downtown Chicago, where she held a similar position in one of the largest headcount branches in the country (235 employees). She joined Smith Barney, in 2006, and became part of the eventual joint venture with MS.

Kerry received an outstanding education from The Ohio State University Columbus Ohio. Her leadership skills blossomed early as she captained the Buckeye tennis team for three of her four years on the team.

Kerry began her professional career on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) working with commodities, options and S&P traders. She traded bonds off the floor for a few years before moving to an office manager position with a proprietary trading firm where she spent seven years before joining Smith Barney.

Kerry lives in Northbrook with her husband, Andy, 5-year old twin daughters, Sammi and Lexi, and 6-year old son, Zack. She enjoys sports, including all things Chicago. In addition to being an active mother and sports fan, Kerry likes to travel and read.

Edward (Ed) Samano is Director and Supervisory Officer for the Metro Chicago Market.   Ed brings a rich history of experience and wisdom to the market.   Most recently, Ed served as Morgan Stanley's Complex Risk Officer at their 70 West Madison Chicago office. 

Ed has spent 35 years in the financial services business.  His tenure includes activity as a foreign currency options broker, at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's Index and Options Market, and as an independent trader on the Chicago Board of Trade.  After his trading days, Ed joined AXA Advisors in Northbrook as an Investment Advisor Rep, ironically in our current building at 5 Revere Drive!   At AXA, Ed ultimately became the Controls Director for more than 210 Advisors.  In 2013, Ed joined Morgan Stanley's as a Complex Risk Officer. 

Rounding out Ed's resume, is his experience with both internal and FINRA audits.  Ed has a BA and a MBA in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago.    He resides in Park Ridge with his wife Donna and five children.   He has lived in Park Ridge for 20 years.   In his free time, Ed enjoys spending time with his family, biking, swimming and watching his children play sports.
