Mr. Karl is a 33-year veteran of the financial services industry, nearly all of it with UBS and its predecessor firms. Having earned the prestigious Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designations, Mike is committed to helping his clients make rational financial decisions in an irrational market. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about helping his clients define and achieve their goals by following a long-term value-oriented investment philosophy. Appreciated for his honest and client-centric approach, Mike is a dedicated steward of his clients’ assets and takes seriously his calling as a “missionary of thrift.”

Mike was awarded the 2008 Central Minnesota Community Foundation Professional Leadership Award and is the recipient of the NABCAP Top Wealth Advisor Award by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal for 2011, 2012 and 2013. He has served on UBS and its predecessor firm’s President’s, Pacesetters or VIP Councils since 1996. He holds a B.A. in commercial economics from South Dakota State University.
