A co-founder of Coastal Partners, Chris began his wealth management career in 2003 and has worked with the other founding members since 2009.  Prior to joining UBS Private Wealth Management, Chris was a senior portfolio manager with the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch.

As Coastal Partners lead investment professional, Chris is primarily responsible for developing the team's investment management strategies and macro-level decisions.  He interacts closely with the firm's Institutional Consulting Group and the UBS Open Architecture Trust platform to provide fiduciary solutions for institutions and individuals. Passionate about giving back to the community, Chris leverages his connections within UBS and outside the firm to help guide clients in their philanthropic endeavors through private foundations, donor advised funds, and direct giving. 

Chris holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA), Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP) designations. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with bachelor’s degrees in economics and finance, and earned his master’s degree in economics from Florida Atlantic University. Chris, his wife, Abigail, and their four children live in Plantation.
