As a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate, Sean provides insight on all aspects for clients including asset allocation, financial planning, inter-generational wealth transfer, liquidity solutions and risk management. Sean originally joined UBS after being selected to join the firm’s highly competitive 2 year Graduate Talent Program (GTP) in the New York City office.  Through this training program, Sean developed the necessary skillset to provide holistic financial advice to clients. After the GTP program, Sean joined UBS’s Tailored Lending team as a Transaction Specialist where he worked with many of the firm’s ultra-high net worth clients providing high touch lending solutions to meet their liquidity needs.

Sean holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Originally from Allentown, PA Sean graduated from the University of Richmond cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a concentration in Finance where he was also a member of their Division 1 men’s soccer team. Sean actively participates in the UBS Community Affairs & Responsibility Program and works with undergraduate students at the University of Richmond to explore internship and post-graduate employment opportunities. Sean’s hobbies include Philadelphia sports, spending time at the beach with family and playing golf.

Kristin Carter joined UBS Financial Services in February 2015 as a Branch Office Administrator and became a Client Associate for the Ted Smith Group in August of 2017.  Kristin assists with operational and administrative functions for clients and team members. She addresses a wide range of concierge elements, including but not limited to, partnering with vendors, client events, maintaining accounts, and day to day operations.

Prior to joining UBS she worked for Johns Hopkins Health System for 3 years where she increased the internal staffing revenue for temporary administrative professionals.  She was integral in converting temporary staff to permanent staff by coaching, training, and monitoring over 400 employees at a 95% compliance rate. 

Kristin was an actress and model, has been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 2001, has a background in restaurant management, and holds a BS from Towson University with a degree in Theatre Arts and Mass Communications.

In her spare time Kristin volunteers with Make a Wish Mid-Atlantic and is a member of the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland. She lives in Lutherville with her Goldendoodle, Trixie.
