Advice Built on experience

Ted has been a Financial Advisor at UBS since March, 2008. In 2013, Ted was named to the inaugural Financial Times Top 400 Financial Advisors list and was honored again in 2016. Over the years, he has also been quoted in numerous publications, including Dow Jones Newswires, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Baltimore Business Journal, and has appeared on local Baltimore news media.

Prior to UBS, Ted served as an advisor at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown and its predecessors since May, 1991, and was named a Director in 2002. Ted's practice focuses on simplifying the lives of functionally retired, or people building for that, in four complex areas, so they can spend time doing what they want to do without as much worry. Ted is Series 7, 63, 65 and insurance registered, and has a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning. In addition while at Deutsche Bank, Ted served on the inaugural DBAB Retirement Plan Advisory Council and was Sales Manager of the Mid Atlantic Region.

Originally from southern Pennsylvania, Ted has lived in Baltimore City since 1984. When not in the office, Ted spends quality family time with children Jake and Kathleen. He enjoys swimming, playing guitar and piano, writing songs, and attempting to surf.
