Tony Jessen is almost a native Mainer, having lived in mid and south coastal Maine since the 2nd grade. He joined UBS Financial Services Inc. in 2013. Prior to beginning his career at EF Hutton in 1983, Tony graduated from Gould Academy in Bethel then attended University of Colorado, with an economics major, and finished up at University of Southern Maine with a BS in Business Administration while interning at EF Hutton.

Tony’s business is focused in financial planning and investment management for individuals and families with considerable wealth, endowments, retirement plans, businesses and other client scenarios that can benefit from his services and the resources he can bring to the table. Tony’s daily objective is to provide a consistently high level of service through clear and calm communication, as well as education, to achieve client objectives and allow time in client’s lives to meet their own family, professional and personal obligations and goals. He strives to offer the advice he would want to receive were he in the client’s particular situation. Tony actively consults with UBS colleagues, CPA’s, estate planners, business consultants and other professionals to better assist clients with their individual needs.

Tony's move to UBS has allowed him to strengthen the planning work that he believes can be the driver of great financial and family success, in personal planning as well as business planning.

Tony believes strongly in community service and actively participates with one or two non-profit board directorships at any given time.

Tony and his wife Hilary live in South Freeport (and Carrabassett Valley winter weekends) with their daughter Lily born in 2005, as well as his stepsons Ethan and Colby. The family counts itself as lucky to enjoy an active lifestyle including boating in summer, skiing in winter, hiking, biking, going to the beach, golf, aviation and triathlon.
