Experience Makes all the difference

Our collaborative and comprehensive vision of wealth management is built on three distinct, yet fully integrated, pillars. First we provide clear direction around asset allocation, portfolio management, risk assessment and performance analysis. Second, our advanced discipline includes tax minimization, cash flow, exit planning, asset protection, wealth transfer and charitable giving. Third, with the goal of building a long-lasting partnership, our relationship management practice coordinates all your professional advisors into one collaborative and comprehensive perspective.

Ahmie E. Baum focuses on “Transition Planning: Unlocking a Lifetime of Work.” He uses a collaborative and comprehensive process developed over 35 years of practice, to incorporate all the various advisors that are necessary to develop the appropriate outcome for you and your company. His process helps you capture and strengthen your “value drivers” while reducing and eliminating your “value detractors.”

For the past  40 years, Ahmie Baum has committed every day to helping clients and their families build financial safety nets. As a child, he experienced firsthand the challenges of financial hardship and consequently he has built his practice on the compassionate understanding of each client’s unique circumstances. Ahmie is committed to giving his clients the guidance, education and resources they need to make wise financial decisions that help protect wealth and achieve their goals.

Ahmie’s core value is innovation. Since the beginning of his career he has been passionate about finding ways to make financial guidance better, easier and more effective for clients. An early advocate of investment management, he was offering financial advice when most of his peers were solely in the stock brokerage business. Now he’s focused on delivering the next transformation in the business: collaborative and comprehensive wealth management.

As important as investment management is, Ahmie understands that a comprehensive approach tackles all the other issues that define success for his clients. He has worked with many successful business owners who have spent their lives building wealth only to find themselves later in life concerned about how to manage and preserve that wealth. Ahmie’s unique ability lies in listening to his clients and helping them see opportunities by coordinating and integrating their total financial picture.

This understanding is born of considerable experience. He began his career with EF Hutton in 1979 and transitioned to UBS in 1993. He has also served on the UBS Global Asset Management and the UBS IRA Rollover Advisory Councils. Nationally recognized, he has been named 3 years in a row to the Barron’s Top 1,000 Financial Advisor List.

Ahmie is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received the Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Duquesne University School of Leadership and Professional Advancement. He has also earned the prestigious Wealth Advisor designation from UBS. He actively supports and participates in many community and charity events. Ahmie and his wife, Sara have 3 children and live in the Fox Chapel area.
