Joe focuses on retirement planning for individuals and corporations. Throughout a career spanning more than two decades, Joe has continued to augment his knowledge and experience through ongoing education, earning several professional certifications as a result. His Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation gives him a thorough understanding of investment portfolio theory and behavioral finance. A Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) certification covers incomes taxes, asset management, and estate planning. Joe also holds a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) certification, which helps him design retirement plans around the goals of business owners and corporate leaders. His Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) certification qualifies him to help business owners integrate their personal, financial, and business goals, as well as understand how to transition their businesses. Lastly, his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation gives him an understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for a fiduciary, and the process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility. Joe is a member of the DC Advisory program, which is an exclusive UBS program comprised of the firm's advisors. Because of their experience and knowledge, UBS advisors are authorized to serve as fiduciaries for retirement plans and can act in either a brokerage or advisory role. Joe's efforts to better serve his clients have earned him national recognition as a Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisor in 2017 and a Forbes Best-in-State Advisor in 2020.
