With over 28 years of experience both in Asia and in the United States, Jessica is a Managing Director and the founder of the Guo Group. She is a Senior Portfolio Manager and an International Wealth Management Advisor, an accreditation that enables her to work with clients living internationally. Prior to joining UBS in 2016, Jessica was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, where she began her career in wealth management in 2002. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Jessica was a Senior Management Consultant at KPMG Consulting.
In 2020, Jessica was recognized as a "Best-in-State Advisor" and a "Top Women Advisor" by Forbes Magazine. She was also recognized in May 2021 by Working Mother Magazine as a "Top Wealth Advisor Mom". In addition to her public accolades, Jessica is a member of the prestigious UBS Pinnacle Council, which is comprised of the top 2% of the firm's advisors.
Passionate about giving back to her community, Jessica is active in several local non-profit organizations. She serves on the Board of Overseers at the Boston Children's Museum, board of corporations at Windsor School, as well as on the Advisory Board at the Wellesley Chinese Language School.
Jessica holds the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM (CRPC®) as well as Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®). She received her MBA from Boston College and her undergraduate degree from Shanghai International Studies University. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Shanghai Dialect.
