Rusty was named by Research Magazine as one of the top 20 financial advisors in Texas. The financial industry magazine, Rep., ranked Rusty as one of The Top 100 Advisors among large financial institutions in the U.S. In 2009, Rusty was recognized as Austin American-Statesman's "Business All-Star" in their annual Fortune 500 for his community involvement.
Rusty joined UBS Financial Services Inc. in 2008 and holds the professional designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Rusty attended the Air Force Academy and received his B.S. degree from the University of Colorado.
Rusty and his wife Mary, have been actively involved in the Austin community for decades and have supported or served on numerous non-profit boards for which they have a passion. These include The Long Center for the Performing Arts (Chairman), Austin Symphony Orchestra (Executive Board), Helping Hand Home for Children, American Lung Association (Chair Austin Advisory Board), ZACH Theatre, Center for Child Protection, Emancipet, Austin Pets Alive! (Chairman), AIDS Services of Austin, and The Breast Cancer Resource Center to name a few.
