Greg Hogensen is an Executive Director - specializing in wealth management with UBS Financial Services in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He provides strategies and advice to families, foundations, endowments, and businesses in Oregon and throughout the country.
Greg joined Smith Barney as an Account Executive in 1987, obtained his securities licenses and began his financial services career. His distinguished tenure at Smith Barney included a promotion to Branch Manager where he was responsible for branch operations as well as the supervision of approximately 18 advisors and their businesses from 1993 to 2000. He received Smith Barney President's Club awards for 1989-2006 and a promotion to Senior Investment Management Consultant in 1998. Greg graduated from Smith Barney's Consulting Group University and from 1997-1999 he was chosen to serve as one of the University's esteemed instructors.
Born in Salem, Oregon in 1959, Greg attended Sprague High School before earning a football scholarship to play tight end for the Ducks at the University of Oregon. He graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Real Estate. In addition to Lake Oswego, where he resided for the last 16 years, Greg lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, Eugene and Bend, Oregon. He and his wife have two grown children, both currently living in New York City.
Enjoying membership at the Lake Oswego Country Club and the Fly Fishing Club of Oregon, Greg is passionate about fly fishing, and pledging his support to the Fishery for the Future Generations organization. Over the years, he has dedicated his time and resources in the support of Habitat for Humanity, among other causes.
