Experience That inspires confidence

Chris joined UBS in 2007. He practiced law for fifteen years prior to becoming a financial advisor. He earned a B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989 and a J.D. from the New England School of Law in 1992. As a client's personal advocate, Chris provides detailed, thoughtful guidance tailored to individual circumstances and priorities. In his role as a Senior Portfolio Manager, he is primarily responsible for executing the team's investment management strategies.

Chris holds four industry designations. The CFP® designation gives Chris a distinct knowledge of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement for his clients. The CIMA® certification allows Chris to provide technical investment knowledge to meet the real world needs of individual and institutional investors, and has been recognized as the only financial services credential in the United States to meet an international standard for personnel certification and earn accreditation by the American National Standards Institute. The CPWA® designation allows Chris to focus on the life cycle of high-net-worth individuals by developing specific strategies to minimize taxes, monetize and protect assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth. The RMA® allows Chris to focus on building custom retirement income plans to mitigate clients' risks and to master the retirement planning advisory process, all within an increasingly regulatory environment.

Chris was recognized by Barron's in 2019 as one of the top financial advisors in the United States, and also earned a spot in the rankings for Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in the State of Florida by Forbes and Shook for 2018, 2019 and 2020. These recognitions are given to the most deserving financial advisors after a very rigorous and stringent process based on an algorithm of both qualitative and quantitative data including in-person interviews, industry experience, community involvement, client retention data, and revenue trends. He and his wife have lived in the Fort Lauderdale area most of their lives. They both graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School and have three grown children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Chris enjoys bridge, reading, and boating.  Chris is currently on the board for Reasons to Believe.
