Ed McDevitt has 20 years of investment experience working with institutions and individuals. Ed uses his experience to provide customized advice and sophisticated investment solutions to select individuals and families. This is done with a high standard for service and investment knowledge.

Prior to UBS Ed worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Ed began his career on the Institutional side of the industry. He was the head trader at Alson Capital a $3 billion long-short equity hedge fund. At Alson, in addition to his duties as head trader, he sat on the investment committee and was responsible for risk management. Prior to Alson Capital Mr. McDevitt worked at Goldman Sachs in the Institutional Equities Division where he advised hedge funds, pension funds and money managers on their investment strategies. Ed began his career at BT Alex Brown in private client services.

Mr. McDevitt holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a member of the CFA Institute and the Colorado Security Analyst Society. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College and serves on the finance committee for Bridge House a nonprofit organization in Boulder, CO. He lives in Boulder, CO with his wife and two children where he is an avid triathlete having qualified for the Ironman world championship eight times.
