Rob holds a B.S. in Finance from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Toledo. Rob began his career in Finance in 1985 working for the former Toledo Trust Bank. He worked in the Trust Investment department until 1990. The stock market crash of 1987 taught him valuable lessons that have helped him throughout his career.

Rob joined McDonald Investments in 1990 as an investment advisor. UBS Financial Services Inc. purchased McDonald Investments in 2007.

Rob has earned the Certified Financial Planner Certification, which attests to his dedication to providing his clients with wealth planning strategies that are developed according to their individual needs and goals.

Rob has been active in his community throughout his career. He has served as President of the Board of the following organizations: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mobile Meals, Leadership Toledo and the Bishop's Education Council. He currently serves on the Board of the Sunset House and is Treasurer and Chairperson of the Investment Committee. He sits on the Finance Committee for Notre Dame Academy and is active in his church Gesu Catholic Church.

Rob is an avid reader and also enjoys running and triathlons. He has completed the New York City and Boston Marathons as well as the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and the Wisconsin Ironman.

Rob and his wife Dana have been married 23 years and have 2 daughters; Torey, a sophomore at Miami University and Julia, a freshman at Notre Dame Academy.
