Kathy has been specializing in Socially Responsible Investing since 1983. Prior to working at UBS, she founded and managed The Center for Responsible Investing for 12 years. Before that she worked at EF Hutton and Shearson.Kathy was honored to be the only advisor invited to join the Sustainability Council at UBS. The international group reports to our board of directors, consisting of key employees that are dedicated to assisting UBS in its strong commitment to corporate responsibility.

We are proud of the fact that our clients have committed a significant portion of their portfolios to community investing and that Kathy has been recognized by the Calvert Foundation as Community Investing Advisor of the Year in 2003 and 2004.

Ms. Leonard is currently a trustee at The Boulder Community Foundation. Before that she was a trustee for US Social Investment Forum Board (USSIF), the social investing industry trade association, There she served as the SIF's chair for the annual SRI in the Rockies Conference for three years and was the president of the Social Investment Forum's Foundation. Kathy was also a founding member of the Colorado chapter of Business for Social Responsibility (BSR).She served as the chair for the BSR Colorado Chapter board and has also served on the board of etown. In addition, Ms. Leonard has served on the finance and investment committees of a number of local and national nonprofit organizations and has spoken at numerous conferences on impact investing.

Ed McDevitt has 20 years of investment experience working with institutions and individuals. Ed uses his experience to provide customized advice and sophisticated investment solutions to select individuals and families. This is done with a high standard for service and investment knowledge.

Prior to UBS Ed worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Ed began his career on the Institutional side of the industry. He was the head trader at Alson Capital a $3 billion long-short equity hedge fund. At Alson, in addition to his duties as head trader, he sat on the investment committee and was responsible for risk management. Prior to Alson Capital Mr. McDevitt worked at Goldman Sachs in the Institutional Equities Division where he advised hedge funds, pension funds and money managers on their investment strategies. Ed began his career at Alex Brown and Sons in private client services.

Mr. McDevitt holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a member of the CFA Institute and the Colorado Security Analyst Society. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College and serves on the finance committee for Bridge House a nonprofit organization in Boulder, CO. He lives in Boulder, CO with his wife and two children where he is an avid triathlete having qualified for the Hawaii Ironman world championship Nine times.

Meredith has 11 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 2008 at UBS in Austin, TX as a Client Service Associate. She later became a part of the management team working as the Complex Risk Analyst before becoming the Market Supervisory Officer for the Central Texas Market Area where she managed compliance across eight UBS branch offices. In 2017, Meredith moved to Colorado and joined the UBS Boulder office as a financial advisor.

Meredith's background in management contributes to the team's insight on how to run an effective business. She has considerable knowledge in compliance and business risk, as well as managing processes and communication.

Meredith grew up in Vero Beach, Florida and attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where she received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She spends most of her time outside of work with her husband, Chris, and her two young daughters. She also enjoys running outdoors and reading.

Providing a positive difference
Pieter began working at UBS as an intern his sophomore year at Villanova University, a job he enjoyed and continued throughout his college career. After graduating with a B.S. in Mathematics, he held various positions in both the finance and technology sectors, gaining experience in both client service and client acquisition. He joined UBS in a full-time capacity in 2015.

Pieter has earned his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. His attention to detail is unparalleled and he serves as an excellent resource for clients looking to address any administrative tasks sent his way. He enjoys interacting with clients and believes every contact is an opportunity for providing a positive experience.

Outside of UBS
Pieter has an eclectic range of interests that include sustainable investing, artificial intelligence, hiking and biking. He gives back to the Philadelphia community by volunteering for CHOP (The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) and serving at MANNA Soup Kitchen.
