A 33-year veteran of the financial services industry, Mark is passionate about investing and research. He is a Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®), a new designation offered through Columbia University and The Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers. While trained in all aspects of financial planning, including a certification as an Estate Planning Specialist, Mark focuses on our clients' investment portfolios. As such, Mark ensures that investment strategies are aligned with our clients' goals and objectives.
Mark is a board member of the Albert Pick Jr. Fund, a foundation that supports small community Chicago nonprofit organizations in the areas of civic and community building, culture, education, and health and human services.
In addition, Mark serves as chair of the Finance Committee of Mikva Challenge, a Chicago nonprofit that was founded on the premise that youth voice and participation matter, and that civic and political life will be stronger when youth participate and help shape their own destinies.
Mark holds a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri. His wife, Rabbi Rachel Mikva, PhD, is an author and professor, and they have two grown children. Outside of the office, Mark enjoys playing golf and the bass guitar.
