Samantha A. Parker-Hopkins, CIMA®, CFP®, CEPA®, CRPS®
Providing institutional consulting services to clients since 2001, Samantha has assets under advisement of $340M (as of December 31, 2017). Her team's client base is comprised of High Net Worth Individuals and Families, Corporate Retirement Plans, Public Retirement Plans, Foundations and Endowments, and Not-for-Profit Organizations.
Samantha joined UBS Financial Services in 2008 with over 20 years of accounting and financial services industry experience. She began her career in public accounting in 1992, later transitioning to corporate accounting, mergers and acquisitions for large publically traded institutions. She was active in the tax-free spinoff of Eveready Battery from Ralston Purina in 1999-2000 and performed analytical analysis and reporting on various global subsidiaries of both companies, working in over 15 countries. In 2001, Samantha transitioned her career to the investment consulting industry where she leveraged her skills to build a practice focused on client–centric planning and the needs of corporate clients both on the for-profit and non-profit segments. Her combination of experience and expertise has enabled her clients to successfully navigate the complexities surrounding benefit programs, investment and spending policy design, and the ever-changing fiduciary landscape associated with running a business.
She is a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XXIX and is a member of the following organizations: Council on Foundations, Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, NAPA-National Association of Plan Advisors, Investments & Wealth Institute, Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Tampa Bay, Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, LRMC Women in Philanthropy, United Way of Central Florida Community Investment Team. She has served on numerous community boards and is a frequent speaker on topics such a financial planning and board responsibilities.
In addition to traditional institutional consulting services on investment policy statements, spending policies, asset allocation and investment manager search, selection and monitoring, Samantha provides her clients with board training on topics including: Your Fiduciary Responsibilities under ERISA, Parliamentary Procedure, Board Duties & Responsibilities, Non-Profit Financials, and Effective Board Meetings.

David R. Parker
David began his career in financial services in 1986 with Merrill Lynch after spending over 15 years as a small business owner. His experience running a successful business, which he later sold, enables him to add valuable insight for our business-owner clients. While his particular experience lies in portfolio management strategies, he regularly deals with issues as retirement distribution and asset transitions. He is FINRA-registered and holds Series 3, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as licenses for life, accident and health insurance and variable annuities. David obtained B.S. in Finance & Marketing from the University of Notre Dame in 1969. David resides in Tampa and has four children as well as four grandchildren.

April's experience in client relations, along with her knowledge of portfolio management, enables her to enhance the client experience by finding solutions for unique challenges each of them face.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, April graduated from Daemen College in Amherst with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She holds her series 7, 63, 65, and 3 registrations as well as her licensing in Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Insurance in the state of FL. April began her career at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, joining UBS in 2015.
