Peter is a registered investment advisor with UBS in New York and member of the UBS Advisor Allocation Program (AAP), a select group of advisers who undergo a rigourous screening process to manage discretionary client portfolios. 

Peter has served in senior strategic and advisory roles in the financial industry since 2005.  He began his financial services career in institutional hedge fund and private equity sales at Avenue Capital focusing on the global debt markets.  From Avenue, Peter joined Concordia Advisors, a quantitative hedge fund, where he headed business development for North America.  He then joined PennantPark, a middle-market investment management company, where he created and funded the firm's first private investment fund.  And before UBS, Peter was an investment adviser at AllianceBernstein.

Peter’s investment process reflects his deep knowledge of equities, fixed income and proficiency in alternative assets which enables him to offer advice on both sides of the balance sheet. In his role as an investment advisor at UBS, Peter works closely with successful entrepreneurs, entertainers, professional athletes, family offices, foundations and institutions to understand their investment needs, their goals and their values.  He is FINRA registered and holds Series 7, 66 and 31 securities licenses.  

Prior to his experience in financial services, Peter spent over a decade in national politics.  After directing national finances for then U.S. Senator John Kerry's re-election campaigns, Peter was appointed by Senator Kerry as National Finance Chairman for his 2004 presidential campaign, overseeing national fundraising at the Democratic National Committee.  Prior to this, and at the age of 23, Peter led national campaign finance efforts for then Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy II. 

Peter currently serves on the non-profit advisory boards of The Common Good and Run For America and his personal interests include classical history, surfing and art collecting.  When not in the office, you can usually find him on a hiking trail with his spaniels Zeus and Augustus.  He graduated from Rollins College with a degree in history and currently resides in New York City.
