Shelly, is the mother of one daughter, Alicen Smith, who lives in Altamonte Springs with her 2 daughers, Lexi and Brandy. Shelly and her family are members of the Congregation of Reform Judaism in Orlando, Shelly is actively in her community pledging her support with the American Lung Association both locally and regionally, the Women's Executive Council of Central Florida & the Kiwanis Club of Orlando.
