Richard Marcatos is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for UBS Financial Services, Inc. and founder of the Marcatos Financial Group, a UBS Wealth Management Americas team. He is a wealth manager for business owners, families, entrepreneurs, family trusts and foundations, retirement plans and individual investors.

The mission of the Marcatos Financial Group is to preserve, enhance, and enable the transfer of wealth. Mr. Marcatos and his team focus on serving clients through careful financial planning, comprehensive risk analysis, and having regular communication to understand clients’ changing needs.

Through an emphasis on financial planning, Mr. Marcatos not only discusses investments and distribution strategies with clients, but broader issues. These include plans to start or expand a business and buyout proposals.

Mr. Marcatos joined UBS Financial Services, Inc. in 2000 and has 20 years of investment management experience. He became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in 2007.

Both Barron’s and the Financial Times have ranked Mr. Marcatos as a top financial advisor in their annual 2015 listings -- the FT 400 Top Advisers, and Barron’s Top 1,200 Advisers. Barron’s also ranked Mr. Marcatos as a top financial advisor in five previous years, 2014 and 2009-12.

He graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA, Finance, and Economics.   Mr. Marcatos also served in the U.S. Army for five years.

A Registered Investment Advisor in 21 states, Mr. Marcatos is based in Clearwater, Florida. He lives with his family in Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Alice Johnson began her career in finance in 2007 and joined UBS in 2012. She helps clients with day-to-day administrative needs, including coordinating portfolio reviews, establishing and maintaining client account information, managing the team calendar and office organization. Alice responds to all client service requests, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service possible. She has a bachelor’s degree in politics from Saint Anselm College and FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

Cameron Marcatos is an intern with the team and started in 2019. He attends school at Florida Atlantic University and is currently in his second year  working towards a degree in finance. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, participated in Boys state at FSU which is a program where 500 high school boys in the state of Florida are interviewed and selected to go to Tallahassee to receive an in depth education about government and economics, and is an active volunteer for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Cameron enjoys diving, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
