An industry veteran since 1992, Jason is the senior member and founder of Katz Wealth Management.  Jason is a UBS Managing Director, a title reserved for a handful of  business leaders around the globe.

As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Jason oversees several customized equity, exchange traded fund, and institutional mutual fund models. He also has extensive experience in selecting and monitoring top institutional money managers, mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds for clients, and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation, administered by Investment Management Consultants Association® and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  Lastly, as one of UBS’s elite Private Wealth Advisors, Jason has completed comprehensive training in financial planning, asset management and wealth transfer strategies.

From 2013 – 2015, Jason was a member of the UBS Financial Advisor Advisory Council, a select group chosen to represent the entire population of UBS Financial Advisors in order to shape the firm’s wealth management strategies. He is a UBS Pinnacle Council member, a designation reserved for the firm’s most accomplished Advisors, and has completed both the UBS Wealth Management Education and Portfolio Management programs and maintains his Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 31 (Futures Managed Funds), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law) securities licenses as well as the New York State life and health insurance licenses.

Jason grew up on Long Island and received his B.A. in finance from Boston University. He now lives in Roslyn with his wife, Amy, and their three children: Brittney, Amanda and Benjamin. He is actively involved in his community’s youth and young adult basketball programs through coaching and sponsoring, and chairs his town’s Alley-Oop for Autism fundraiser along with the Jewish Community Center’s Special Needs Basketball Program. Jason also participates in UBS Community Corps, which enables employees to serve their communities in ways that are meaningful to them. Additionally, Jason serves as a manager for the UBS Graduate Talent Analyst Program, which gives recent college graduates exposure to multiple areas of the firm and its leaders. Lastly, Jason mentors and offers career guidance to military veterans through American Corporate Partners, and was also a volunteer consultant for the Clinton Global Initiative Small Business Advisory Program providing a New York City based small business with strategies for long-term success.
